Unit card: They have a health bar on both sides of the card, once their health is depleted the card is destroyed. Units have a battle rating, which is the number in the box with the lightning bolt. This determines how strong the card is. A unit card can only attack cards with a lower power ratting than itself. Units also have 2 badges at the top of the description box. The first is to represent the units tribe, and the second is to represent it's profession. (tribes and professions will be explained in later posts).

The second is to determine what unit cards can be played. A unit card can only be played if it is part of the same tribe as your current leader.
Leaders have health bars but are unable to attack and so have no battle rating. A leader has no profession and it's tribe is shown via the badges on the card.

Tactic card: They are used to temporarily alter rules and sway the flow of battle. If a tactic is exclusive to a tribe it may have a watermark badge behind the description (similar to a leader).
I'm currently working on the story of the tribes, and the rules itself. When I make something that's a little bit more presentable (and legible) then random notes and doodles in my book I'll post again. :)
